Bali Offbeat Tour

Bali Offbeat Tour

We're embarking on a journey that combines the must-see tourist hotspots of Bali with some hidden gems like Gili Island and Labuan Bajo.

Ubud is known as the spiritual heartland of Bali. Long revered for its temples and artistic heritage, the village has in recent years grown into a vibrant hub attracting expats, yogis and digital nomads. Once you explore beyond the busy centre of town jam packed with cafes, galleries, yoga studios and boutiques, you will be surrounded by rice fields, jungle and the lush beauty of the real Bali.

The Gili Islands comprise three islands – Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air – situated off the northwest coast of Lombok in the West Nusa Tenggara province. These islands are car-free, with transportation from the docks to the hotels primarily provided by horses. Explore the pristine waters of the Island by snorkeling.

Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above the waves. As one of the 6 key temples considered to be Bali's 'spiritual pillars', Uluwatu also shares the splendid sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple that graces the island's western coast.

The origins of the Kecak Dance trace back to the collaboration between a Balinese dancer named Wayan Limbak and a German painter named Walter Spies in 1930. Drawing inspiration from the Sanghyang tradition, where dancers are believed to be possessed by spirits connecting with ancestors or deities, the Kecak dance embodies a unique cultural fusion.

Indonesia's enchanting Komodo Island is renowned for hosting the world's largest lizards – the Komodo dragons, exclusive inhabitants of this untamed paradise. With a dragon population surpassing the human residents, boasting around 2500 dragons against less than 2000 people, Komodo Island offers a rare glimpse into nature's magnificence. Despite its remote location, the island draws numerous tourists daily, eager to witness these colossal reptiles in their native environment. Yet, as visitors explore the island, they soon realize that its allure extends far beyond the majestic Komodo dragons, unveiling a plethora of natural wonders waiting to be discovered.
